Master Plan

The Lone Ranch development is a complete community comprised of 553 beautiful acres along the rugged Oregon coastline. The property is adjacent to Samuel H. Boardman State Park, including beautiful Lone Ranch Beach Park, donated to the state by U.S. Borax.

The Master Plan, already approved by the City of Brookings, includes up to 1,000 residential units composed of townhomes, single-family detached homes, and condominiums. A clubhouse, neighborhood park, and small commercial area are in the site plan – to serve the needs of residents. The recently completed 10-acre campus of Southwestern Oregon Community College is located at the entrance to Lone Ranch.

The project preserves 370 acres of open space and creates over four miles of pedestrian trails to link neighborhood residents to amenities. Each neighborhood phase will be subject to development review to ensure compliance with the spirit of the approved Master Plan.

The property is situated 35 minutes from the regional airport in Crescent City, California and sits adjacent to U.S. Highway 101, the main coastal highway extending from Canada to Mexico.

U.S. Borax is seeking an experienced investor or developer to take the project from its current approved Master Plan status to construction. If you’d like to learn more, send us your contact information through the inquiry form below.
